Principal's Message
Welcome to Juliet Morris Elementary School . . . Home of the Mustangs!
At Morris, we provide a safe and supportive learning environment, where students are challenged to think critically, communicate clearly, and collaborate productively.
Morris students in transitional kindergarten through third grade benefit from reduced class sizes, and all students participate in daily small group instruction designed to meet the needs of individual learners. Ongoing professional development and weekly collaboration make it possible for Morris teachers to plan instruction that’s rigorous and relevant, and students look forward to field trips and enrichment programs that enhance classroom learning.
The Morris campus is rich with opportunities for students to explore their interests and develop their talents. In the school’s STEM lab, students engage in hands-on learning related to science, technology, engineering, and math. In the dedicated Music room, credentialed teachers provide weekly instruction, when students in all grades learn to sing, dance, read music, and explore musical instruments. Students in the upper grades also have the opportunity to participate in choir and band programs.
Morris values the participation of parents and community partners, and families are encouraged to join the PTA, serve on the School Site Council, volunteer in the classroom, or assist with special events. Regular communication is provided by the teachers and the school through daily Seesaw messages, a weekly newsletter, and periodic updates to the school and district websites. Fun and informative Instagram posts at morris.mustangs also provide timely updates and photos.
We’re so glad to welcome you to the Morris school community, and we look forward to getting to know you and your child!
